Back to Model RR Gallery Bridge Abutment By Chris Darling Find a pattern of an abutment you like from a photo or magazine. Enlarge it to the desired scale on a copy machine. Trace pattern onto an appropriate size piece of foam (for O Scale). Then cut out on Scroll Table, or if you have a steady hand, with Sculpting Tool. Use the Engraving Tool, or very carefully with the tip of the Hot Knife, to engrave a random rock pattern on all surfaces that will show. Paint and weather as desired.
