Back to School Projects Gallery Derby Car & Castle by Joyce Jamison The 50th Annivesary Lego Brick Pinewood Derby car is mine that I made for the adult race at the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby. The block is wood, but the lego "bumps" are made of styrofoam. Harry's "Shooting Star" features a real geode with a "tail" made of sculpted styrofoam. Sadly, our cars did not do well speedwise, but we are hoping for some design awards at our upcoming Awards Presentation this Tuesday night. We had many admiring glances, favorable comments, and inquiries about "how did you do that" and foam sculpting tools.
