"I experimented with
your Interior Foam Coat for the first time. After the Foam Coat set, I
proceeded to use multiple colors (red sandstone, granite gray, base coat
brown, turf green, beige sandstone, etc.) to try to come up with the effect
I had wanted. The rocks in Big Bear are jagged and have unique shapes
but probably have a more smooth surface than the rough surface I may have
gotten with the Exterior Foam Coat (not sure what that surface would have
looked like but hope to try it in the future).
The lake was made by pouring hot wax, which I colored with miniscule amounts
of blue and green dye, into the soil lined surface. The waves and ripples
were made by pinching up the wax with my fingers while it was still warm.
The sand is from my beach in Hermosa. Some of the trees were purchased
ready made, and others were made using dried ferns etc."
