THIS KIT COMES WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO CUT DENSER FOAMS

1. Hot Scroll Table. Fast, accurate cuts are easy!! Our Scroll Table is 12" x 14" with a 9.75" Hot Wire for cutting accurate straight edges and curves. A simple adjustment allows you to make angle cuts. The distance from the cutting wire to the back of the table is approximately 9". You can make as long a cut as needed from side-to-side. Cuts Armor Foam, Art & Sign Foam, EPS, XPS, Blueboard, polyethylene, and polypropylene foams. Cuts Pelican Case foam, but beware as their polyurethane foam gives off toxic fumes when cut with heat. Includes 4 long life cutting wires. Includes the Jumper Cable, which quickly attaches to the Scroll Table blade to concentrate the heat to the bottom 5.5 inches of the blade.

2. 3-Inch Hot Knife. Gets much hotter than our 4-Inch Hot Knife, for cutting denser foams. Plunge, slice and dice. A combo hand held scroll saw and power drill that cuts foam with fast clean surgical precision. The 3-inch blade is made from thin tough steel, with a unique round shape that slices cleanly in any direction like magic. Features a handy on-off switch right on the handle and six feet of tool cord. Cuts EPS, XPS, Blueboard, polyethylene, and polypropylene foams. Cuts Pelican Case foam, but beware as their polyurethane foam gives off toxic fumes when cut with heat.

3. Power Supply with a 6-foot tool cord. Works with the Hot Scroll Table and the 3-Inch Hot Knife. Works with several other Hot Wire Foam Factory Tools, not included here.

Always check with the manufacturer of the foam you need to cut to make sure there are no health or safety hazards when cutting their foam with hot wire tools. Cut in well ventilated area.

Hot Wire Foam Factory has been making high quality cutting edge foam cutting tools in the USA for over 20 years. We pride ourselves in providing old fashioned friendly customer service.

I was watching your YouTube videos and found your website. I was curious what would be suitable to make foam signs.

I have seen foam artists with very steady hands create decent looking signs with just one of our $30 Hot Knives, though most people use our Hot Scroll Tables for sign making.

We have several to choose from:
Crafters Original Scroll
Pro Original Scroll
Pro 16-Inch 3D Table
Deluxe 24" 3D Table

It's really handy to also have a Hot Knife to cut the foam down to a workable size and for making inside cuts. Plus it's useful for doing bigger signs that won't fit on the table. Here's the least expensive kit that has both: https://hotwirefoamfactory.com/-K03CC-Instrument-Case-Kit.html

If you are looking at making a lot of commercial signs, we have and incredibly inexpensive and easy to operate computer-controlled automated Sign Maker CNC Machine.

In the US sign makers are charging anywhere from $1,000 to $5,000 for 3D signs.

I bought this product a little over a year ago & it still works like brand new. I was a noob in this but I caught on quickly after watching a few tutorials. I'm handy with a circular saw & saw table so I just used my skills from that but anyone can learn right away with patience. With all tools use safety 1st, wear a filtered respirator & safety glasses. Never touch the wire while it's hot. It heats very fast & cools down fast & clean up is a snap. While in use go slow & steady keeping your eyes on the hot wire & your work. Don't force it & let the wire do the work for you. I haven't had to buy any replacement wire yet I'm still using the one that came with it & it ships with an extra wire. If you take time to clean & take care of your hot wire tools you will have no problems. I use mine to make displays & set design & I found a use for it now while remodeling my mom's kitchen.
