This is a great density for building your foam pruducts. If you had not notice before. Foam can be made in many desities for weight to strength ratios. Some packing foam is soft so the it will not damage product it is protecting. Made where it will take up some impact if package is droped. Other foams are so tough they can barely be scratched witha finger nail. This is in between those densities. Making it great for a very large veriety of projects.

I have not found a real strong need for this product in my applications. It does offer another option that maybe you will find a need for it. Apply it by itself in a thick enough coat. It will make your foam items bounce. In all with it either by it self or applied with the addition of foam coat to toughen it up. You can give your products the feel of rubber on the outer surface. Again I have not used it in this manner. But if applied to a foam rubber. It could make some cool rubber boulders. Maybe for the use as theatrical props that will be dumped onto actors.

I purchased the sculpting tool. I wanted the longest wire span that was offered in these tools. It works great for creating rock wall type features that I use in my vavariums. Often if you look at natural rock walls. They are erroaded in very simular fashion side by side. If I contour the wire to the basic shape I want. Then run it accross the face of the foam materials making the cut. i just have to wiggle the cut wire slightly to give it a very natural looking features. Then applying foam coat with dark paint added in the mix. Give a great base for detailing the feature. Brushes and sponges can be used to add color to give in more depth.
