Welcome to the Hot Wire Foam Factory Trouble-Shooting Guide.

Please use this guide to help figure out how to solve any problem with your Hot Wire Foam Factory product or to obtain a Return Authorization for a defective product.

If you are returning a product which is not defective, or you want to return multiple items (for example, a kit you decided you don't need) please note: there will be a restocking fee. Fees vary depending on the condition of the items returned and shipping costs. Please go directly to the Return Authorization Form

First check:

1. Everything is plugged in and turned on:
My tool is plugged all of the way into the power supply and the power supply is plugged into the wall.
If I'm using a surge protector or power strip, it is turned on.
If I have a Multi-Heat or Variable Heat power supply, I've made sure that the unit is turned on.
I've made sure the switch on my tool is in the ON position.

2. Physical damage to cords:
Cord hasn’t been melted or cut.
