The best part: it's 100% compatible with all the corded Industrial Hot Knife accessories we offer! It is lightweight, has replaceable blades, and a variable heat adjustment dial right on the handle. It comes with the standard 6-Inch blade, a shapeable routing blade, and a sturdy carrying case. Used by professionals for everything from art installations to cutting and grooving SIP and ICF construction panels.

WARNING: While the included battery fits onto most hand drills, these batteries are NOT compatible with anything except this Hot Knife and will damage your hand drill! Vice versa, using hand drill batteries on this Hot Knife will damage the Hot Knife!

Can I use your tools to trim polyurethane insulation spray foam?

We have many contractors using our Bow Cutters to cut PU spray foam, but, this foam gives off toxic fumes when cut with a hot wire so an appropriate respirator and plenty of ventilation are necessary.

Does the battery powered Industrial Knife has as much cutting power as the corded version?

Yes it does! If you choose to get the battery powered version over the corded version, you won't be sacrificing cutting power.

Are the accessories for the corded Industrial Hot Knife compatible with this one?

Yes, all the accessories we offer for our corded Industrial Hot Knife are compatible with the battery powered version.

Can I use a hand drill battery with this Hot Knife

No! Hand drill batteries are NOT compatible with this Hot Knife. Vice versa, the battery that comes with this Hot Knife is NOT compatible with anything other than this Hot Knife. Trying either of these will cause series damage to your tools.
