Will your products do a good job cutting the blue extruded polystyrene insulation from Dow Chemical? This is the stuff sold in 4 ft x 8 ft x 2 in sheets at Lowe's Hardware. I want a good cutter for making scenery for a model railroad. Thanks, Allen H. Jacksonville OR

Yes, the tools in our Crafters 4-in-1 Kit will cut Dow Blueboard and Owens Corning Pinkboard foam. These are dense foams so the cut will take twice as long as the white beaded EPS foam, but the cuts are clean and precise. Make sure you choose the 3-Inch Hot Knife as it cuts 50% faster than the 4-Inch.

Most of the scenery is made with DOW Blueboard or Owens-Corning's Pinkboard. Some of the larger layouts are made out of the less expensive and fast to cut EPS foam, then hard coated with our All Purpose Foam Coat.
