I use this kit to make all my Dept. 56 holiday displays. I use it on foam insulation boards to make the villages, including streets, mountains, ponds or anything else to make my display look real. My Halloween display draws over 100 people to my house and when I tell them that half the display is carved out of foam they are amazed and always have to feel it. These tools are a must and so easy to use.

This kit made my life so easy for my class project of carving tombstones. The students use handcarving tools because of the toxic hazard and I use the hot tools outside to help cut out the shapes. the small writing tool I have had problems with as it does not want to heat up and I have had it repaired once and it still doesnt work and I really liked that tool when it sorks it is great for lettering. I probably need to send it in again for rapairs. Not sure why it has so many problems.
