I use a number of HWFF tools to create holiday village displays, but this Sculpting Tool is by far my most used. I use it primarily for carving cliffs and rock edges, and its quality craftsmanship allows me to slice up pieces in no time.

The blade can be bent to carve shapes, but I find it too flexible for this purpose (for this work, I use the Freehand Router Tool). 90% of the time I use the Wire Tensioner addon, which I HIGHLY recommend.

The Sculpting Tool is an absolute workhorse, and I recommend it to any foam hobbyist.

This is one of the most useful tools in my kit. I use it to make my display stands for my Dept 56 village pieces. With this tool I am able to cut insulation foam boards into mountains, stairs, gates and anything else my mind comes up with.
There is one improvement I would suggest and that is a better on and off switch. I have had to replace these as they tend to break after using the tool for a while otherwise this is an excellent and necessary tool for anyone who owns any Dept 56 pieces.
