Industrial 6-Inch Hot Knife Kit #035I-KIT

I finally got my Hot Knife out to use it. What a dream! It will make all my future projects so much easier. I have been buying products from this company for over 20 years and I love the customer service and their products.

The Industrial Hot Knife kit has been one of the most useful tools I have used in carving foam. I have used it to cut down major pieces, trim small ones, and create channels in foam that I use for strong and detachable mounts for tombstones and even wings on a TIE Advanced costume for Magic Wheelchair.

It is a seriously powerful tool with a whole lot of applications. The variety of blades, the ability to customize a cut, and the temperature control make this a versatile tool that saves me time as well as effort. My projects would take easily a third to twice as long without it.

I cut 2" Styrofoam sheets into piece for packing. It cuts faster than the time it takes to draw the lines. The absolute best part is no more Styrofoam snow all over the house and my clothes. Also hot cut edges stiffens the pieces.
